Day 28 - Movie with the best soundtrack
I don’t know about BEST, but one of the most intriguing soundtracks, one that I almost instantly fell in love with is Bruno Coulais’ score in Coraline, which employs much harp, jazz trills, xylophone, and eerie singing in gibberish, and is generally unlike any other score I’ve ever heard, and definitely my favorite aspect of the film.
Honorable mentions: Edward Scissorhands, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Triplets of Belleville, Pride and Prejudice, Mirrormask, Tron: Legacy, There Will Be Blood.
The leaves in the scene where Coraline is returning to the well were created by spraying popcorn pink and cutting it up into little pieces.
